The ultimate legends of the world’s techno scene Jeff Mills and today’s most sought after start of house, Black Coffee, have confirmed their performances at Dance Paradise Stage on this year’s Sea Dance Festival! The impressive lineup for the unforgettable three-day long adventure at the best beach in Europe will include a pleiad of leading names from the local DJ scene, Lea Dobričić, Kristijan Molnar Miss Sunshine, Haris, Mladen Tomić, Gillerz, Slobodan Popović PS, AP, Millok, AudioStorm, Aleksandar Grum, Proximus, Cule, Mtech, Jan De R, Marek Tripkowski, Rudhaman, Soft 85 and Mr. Jools.

The multitalented artist, Jeff Mills is responsible for the renowned Detroit school of techno and the founder of its most famous institution “Underground Resistance”. He released his first albums back in 1992 for Berlin’s techno institution Tresor, and is also one of the pioneers of the three or more turntable mixing style. Known also for his nickname “The Wizard” to describe his amazing skill of using over 70 records in one hour! His authentic expression and virtuoso technique was recorded in two documentaries “Exhibitionist” which even featured in the Louvre in Paris, where Mills spent four months as the curator of the multimedia series exhibitions. Mills composed the new, contemporary background for the silent film “Metropolis” by Fritz Lang from 1927, which he performed live accompanied by a symphony. His undoubtable contribution to contemporary art brought him also the title of Knight of French Art, while during his rich, two-decade long career, Jeff Mills had performances on all the major world festivals, as well as over twenty released albums with more than one hundred other editions.

The absolute phenomenon of the contemporary electronic music scene, the South African superstar Black Coffee is bringing to the DJ table at the Dance Paradise Stage some of the finest house sounds which will mark the opening of the Sea Dance Festival on 14 July. Even though he is present on the scene over 10 years and has five studio albums, numerous singles and one DVD release behind him, his meteoric rise and global popularity is best illustrated through the numerous performances which led him to almost 20 countries, across five continents in the previous year! With a characteristic sound depicting his African heritage, Black Coffee is recognizable in the world of electronic music for puzzling and almost spiritual DJ sets which tour the biggest stages from Ibiza’s megaclubs, Berlin’s Panorama Bar, all the way to festivals such as Sonar, Montreaux Jazz or Coachella! During the last ten years he finds himself at the head of “Soulistic” record label, which under its wing hosts a multitude of great young artists who perform across the world. In his wish to help the youth, last year, together with SAE institute in South Africa, he initiated the “Black Coffee Foundation Scholarship” program to help students of sound production who are not able to finance their studies.
